Did he start with taking .5 mg AM and PM? If so, the issue might be not increasing it slow enough. My child started with taking .5 mg PM only for 1-2 weeks (I forget how long), and then we added .5 mg AM, then moved to 1 mg PM and .5 mg AM, then 1 mg AM and PM, etc.
Also, you might want to ask about Intuniv. It's the 24-hour version of Tenex. However, bewarned that there's no generic, so it's a lot more expensive than generic Tenex.

Which was a shame becuase it worked so well otherwise. Anybody else have similiar issues? He is 8 years old, also on 18 mg Concerta and now Clonidine,1mg morning and night... which is like water, doesnt affect his moods/anxiety/sleep at all. Another appointment tomorrow...
