Strattera violence | ADHD Information
Our son (now 14) has been through a variety of meds over
the past four years. Concerta was great, but wore off
too soon. Vyvance gave him terrible stomach aches.
Focalin made him a zombie. Then our Dr. suggested
Strattera, saying the only down side was how long it
takes to come up to a therapeutic dose - six weeks or
more.
Well, for what it's worth, we feel like we threw away the
first half of 7th grade on Strattera. It never really
controlled his ADHD, but he did start having violent
rages (and I've got the repair bills and hospital bills
to prove it).
Now we're trying Daytrana for the first time. Three days
in, and so far so good.
What a journey!
