Proud moments as a parent | ADHD Information

I had to tell you all the great news that has befallen my nearly 9yo VERY
ADHD son, Holden.

First off - at progress report time he had one A, one B and one B- and a
C+. Not horrible grades but far lower than we know he is certainly capable
of.

Well, today is a teacher's work day and end of the marking period and his
teacher has updated Edline (where we can check grades, etc). I JUST
looked at his grades and I was STUNNED.

He kept his A in social studies (99.1%), rose his C+ in English up to a B+,
rose his B in Math up to an A- and rose his B- in Science up to a B+! He
did a SUPERB job buckling down the last 4.5weeks to raise all of his
grades and do so well! :)

Then - this is a sports proud moment - he had his last wrestling
tournament of the season - a Tournament of Champions qualifying state
tournament. He came in 2nd place! He hasn't been wrestling all that well
for most of the season and to come out and do so well in the last one of
the season - WOW!

I'm so glad I made the decision to change his meds from Metadate CD to
the Daytrana patch. What a WORLD of difference! :)

YAY Holden! :)
