Following a Daily Checklist | ADHD Information

Hi All!

I have a number of tasks that I need to do every day when I first get to work. I have  tried a numnber of different things to remind myself of what I need to do, but after a week or so, I simply overlook or ingore the list and a lot of the things don't get done. I was curious as to what methods other people use to make sure specific things get done. Any suggestions are appreaciated.

regards,

I am also interested in what methods people use to organize.

the lastest thing I'm trying right now is doing the work I want to do first so that I get in a more productive mood. (and I say mood becuse I feel like with my medication it really comes down to a lack of dicipline now - I've spent all my life unable to focus unless I was hyperfocused so now I just have to train myself to work when I don't feel like it.)

Today I am starting with my volonteer work for the Sports Club and Organization that I am involved with. Then I will do work for the clients who are nice to me. I will save the annoying work for the client-who-is mean for last so that I can immidiately reward myself with something I REALLY want to do (aka eating/training).

dunno if it will work but it seams like it might - in theory.

Well, do the thing that is the top priority as soon as you wake up. I feel like I lose energy as the day goes by, so it is logical to do the most important stuff you need to do first.

Second, I don't know what you want to accomplish, but if it is for example to drink plenty of fluids, make sure it is inevitable that your run into the water bottles wherever you go, so you will always remember to drink. If you don't do it then - it is just being lazy :)
I have started to use a "computer talking clock" with setable audio and visual reminders.
