Newly Diagnosed - what to ask | ADHD Information

I'll save my story for the story thread.

I underwent several hours of testing last week for adhd and I'm pretty sure that I will receive a diagnosis Monday. I've been reading quite a bit on ADHD - the Hallowell books, and one other - so I feel that I understand it fairly well. However, I wanted to ask people here, who have been through this already, if there are questions you wish you had asked when you were first diagnosed. I'm sure medication will be a topic of conversation as, of course, will the specific results of the test, yet I know with things like this there are questions we wished we had asked but didn't.

Also, for background, I'm a 35 year old male. My son's diagnosis brought the specifics of ADHD to my attention, resulting in my test! I have been in and out of counseling most of my life for depression (major depression). Depression may be a "comorbid"  condition.
