I really need some support plz | ADHD Information

I have two daughter ages recently 7 an 5 my 7yr old Allison has been diagnosed with adhd and we are waiting for them to fully test Bethanie my 5 since they wont do it until she turns 6 in august. My husband was diagnosed when he and his twin brother were little but they thought he grew out of it, his brother didnt but we think it has come back hard and he wont get it checked out. I have zero support on any of this an it makes things extemely hard. I dont know of anywhere to talk with others or to get them into play dates with other kids(we dont have kids around our neighborhood they can play with) and its hard for them to keep friends because they cant handle the energy that they have. If anyone can give me some advice or would like to talk I would really really really appreciate it I really don't know where to turn. at 5 and started medication. We have been thru our ups and downs but
medication has been a blessing. We are now trying a new combo of meds
over the summer and it is stressful, but we will get thru it. I would try to
keep the girls on a routine even this summer and have a schedule for
them. One-on-one playdates are best in my opinion, especially at a
young age. My ds always does better that way. Behavior modification,
reward systems, etc will work. You need to find out what motivates them.
You are certainly not alone. I thought I was, but it turned out that there is
one girl and two other boys in his class with ADHD. Two additional girls
as well in previous years. I used to try to hide that fact that he has ADHD,
but opening up to some friends has really helped a lot. Get them
swimming this summer or find an activity that they can use their energy
in. Maybe an art camp even? Hang in there!!! "you can't stop the waves,
but you can learn how to surf" (ps - I have been seeing a therapist and
taking medication for anxiety for a while. It helps in dealing with it)
