Gay with ADD | ADHD Information

My brother falls into this category. He's never fit the "neat freak" gay
stereotype- that's for sure!

on the other hand, I think the excitement-seeking and socialibility
qualities *do* fit the stereotypes. Speaking for myself, medicine only
slightly mitigates the roller coaster ride. You won't turn into a dull suit n
tie breeder, I promise! I would think they are unconnected  and  treating  a  brain  function issue  wont have any change on   who you are  other than maybe  you will be able to deal with the ADHD   problems a bit better.  IF Ritalin changed sexual orientation it would be a compulsory  medication in more than a few places in America.   If you substitute the word  gay  for straight in your post  it sounds like a straight person with ADHD.  I moved 12 times  in 17 yrs not including the  3 moves in 3 months  while getting divorced and owning 2 condos and 2 houses...kinda sucked.

I am writing to see if anyone else has had the joy of dealing (for lack of a better word) with both ADD & homosexuality and their experience. I am 23 and have just realized I really do have ADD, before this I had figured moving several times in the past few years, having multiple serious relationships, and changing careers night and day was normal, LOL. It is a rollar coaster ride to be sure, but it makes my life exciting to say the least. I have not decided to go on meds yet, so am still on the ride, if anyone else is on the ride and is also gay I would love to hear your stories and share my own, take care!
