Started my Ritalin. | ADHD Information

hi I've just started taking ritalin to only 10 mg x 3 times á day. I
am ADD inattentive type. But has anyone experiences like in
the morning like innerjitters or tremors, is that like tics?. It's
kinda freaking me out but the ritalin is working great for but I
haven't really adjusted to it.
Anyone? Tics? I don't think ritalin is right for you if you are getting tics. But a lot of the initial symptons go away with time.

no well the tics are not severe or anything. I just get a little aggitated sometimes..it's all in my mind...i'm fine when i'm not stressed. ritalin is certainlyl working great for me...caffeine is great to get rid of the unwanted withdrawal. as for tics they are just somtimes i get stressed or worried and i just have to move..its kind of hyperactive moving. they never caused me any bother.

wildlad08838369.2495138889TY  great infoYeah well it did feel really good on 7.5 but when i started 12.5 it didn't feel very good. i felt a little like i was drunk and then i started getting tics. even though with practice i know i can control them. any advice?I'm sure that would kill me....Hee, well it works like this. When you first take the drug, the effects are mind blowing. But you build up a tolerance very quickly, so you need more to do the same thing. However, that spiral doesn't last forever - at some point you will hit your maintenance dose and can remain there for years. Yes, it's common. The answer is to take more. You can safely go up to about 100MG a day (I'm not suggesting that)Hey i've started my ritalin. . I started at 5mg and then went up to 7.5,I'm on 12.5mg now. The first week I felt this total excellent focus, i was just after starting. But it only lasted for an hour or so, I felt really confident just drowsy and thirsty. I started 12.5mg today and I felt good on the first medication but the second and third I would just feel wierd and my hands would feel these pins and needles for a few minutes. then i would become very drowsy when it wears off. Is this common?? I'm going on to concerta when i'm finished my trial of ritalin!
