Are there any books out there that can assist in offering suggestions to what schedule is best for a child who is ADHD? I have two children and I have just gone through a court case with my ex. My youngest son is ADHD and that's why I went to court in the first place. For the last 5 years, my children have been on a one week, one week schedule. This was done before my son was diagnosed with ADHD. Both of my children have and are having trouble in school.
The courts like to do Joint Custody and I have no proble with that. It is the schedule that is the most important issue. I am not able to provide my children with a stable. consistant schedule. Since the Judge in my case is not upto date on ADHD, the schedule that he choose is not in my children's best interest. My attorney also is not upto date on it. I need help. I am looking for a new attorney, books, letters for other parents that have been in my shoes.

Needhelp.....as a parent my heart goes out to you. My only suggestion to you is to contact your local chapter of CHADD which is a noprofit organization for children and adults with ADHD.
