Ritalin is definately changing my life! | ADHD Information

I have started ritalin and it is already changing my life. I feel more focused on long term and short term goals...I'm not jumping into a dream  that can't be accomplished...It is brillant stuff!!!No bad side effects only a little fatigue!Excellent,  That is good news!Hurray!!  I so happy for you!It is amazing how fast the change happens with Ritalin.  I had my first sort of rough day  with ADHD  w/meds today.  I figuire hell if it's 2 days a week   of  distraction where nothing interests me and doing my job feels like being forced to watch the grass grow....that's 5 less than before. Now, the thing is at the end of the day I  have gotten a LOT done. I was very  productive at work. Even bored I got off the internet  to do my job when I  needed too. I went to the gym. I went to the store( I am eatting a lot of fish means   3 or 4 trips a week now).  I still cooked dinner, lunch and tommorow's supper  and  cleaned up the Kitchen as I was cooking rather than watching TV  while I cooked. . Maybe  it wasnt such a failure as it felt... we wont talk about my trip to the gas station yesterday!  I haven't had to spend anytime searching for my keys, my wallet or  my identification badge for work since I started the meds...they have been in the  bowl on my center Island everyday but Sunday...coincidentally   I took no meds Sunday afternoon because of poor scheduling of my time.   Monday I got up didnt see  my keys and checked the lock  and they were there...It's always the first place I look.  GOOD LUCK to you Wildlad I can understnad the elation at  finally believing  their is hope. Now it's chill time  for an hr before bed!! night allthanks boblel...yeah it's happening fairly quickly for me ok. there aren't anymore distractions for me...when it wears off the distractions start again.
