Hi there, I am new to this board and very frustrated with meds, dr.'s teachers and my son. 4yrs old ped tried Dexadrine, a very serious tic developed and meds were stopped. Child phych. is trying Resperidal, seems to help , very small dose so far. Says NO STIMS now due to tics. Strattera is not availble in Canada yet. I feel like I just give him whatever they say and don't know anything about the long term effects, dependency. Is it ADHD? is it Tourettes, or bi polar,
ANyone who has any info or advice I would LOVE to hear from you.
