Ritalin vs. Adderall experiences? (Adult)

I'm taking 30mg of Ritalin LA, and I do find that I am more focused and am accomplishing more... However, I still have trouble prioritizing and being mindful of how I am spending my focused time.  When I first started, I felt very aware of what I was doing, and what I should be doing...   That wore off within a couple weeks.  I've upped the dosage, but still don't feel as methodical/aware...  Any experiences like this?  Might adderall be a good switch?

Thanks for replies!

Samantha

I have never taken Adderal.

I take ritalin. It has worked great. I never expected 100% results. I have gotten about 80%  which was  a lot more than I expected when i started.  Are your expectations  high?  If I am not mistaken  Adderal is a stronger medication. My Dr. said if I want to  take something long term its the way to go. I guess he isnt thrilled with time release ritalin.  I take the  4 hr ritalin 3 times a day. I  get out of school at 8:20 at  night 2 days a week.   The fast acting works well for me. I have no problems  sleeping  and  by spreading the doese  out  to 3 times a day have no crashes or periods of bad ADD crap.
