concerta side effects for ADULTS??? | ADHD Information

i was just getting ready to take my first 18 mg concerta when i read the label that says may cause dizzyness and or drowsiness???

now i am not wanting to take it!  the adderall xr never said that so why does concerta say that?

what kind of side effects have you had on concerta when first starting? should i worry if i had not problems with the adderall does that mean i wont with the concerta?

I took Concerta (36mg) for almost a year... the only side effects I got (lasted only about 4 days) were  nervousness, and slight weight loss (over the full year), and possibly a head ache (but that could of been due to anything). I don't know where the drowsiness came from (haven't found that listed anywhere)... and if you recheck your sources, they'll tell you that Adderall XR has pretty much all the same side effects as the Concerta. 

Concerta boosts the "dopamine" levels in your brain, Adderall boosts the "dopamine" and "norepinephrine" levels... refer to:

I've now switched to Adderall XR because my doctor seemed to think that it would be more effective... I'm on day 2, and I wish I could go back on Concerta (had way less side effects for me)... Remember, everyone reacts differently to different medications. Contact your doctor/pharmacist if your worried!
Adderall does say that. There are so many side effects for Adderall they can't write them all down.
