Oh yes I feel that all the time, unfortuneatly my discomfort is covered up by an embarrassing nervous giggle and continual talking.
So I cant say I am dealing with it LOL.
Perhaps you should figure out what your particular interests are and join a club or group that also has the same interest, then at least there will be one thing you have in common!
Cheers.

Rae7038383.9879166667You didn't mention if you have children or not. Do you? Well first ... grab a good book/magazine and run a hot bubble bath and just relax. Ahhhh..at least for one hour or more. Do you work? If not; maybe you could get a part-time job where you would be more involved in meeting other people. Just a thought. But another thought comes to mind also; we're all different..I think that's what makes us unique. A personal question that if you don't want to answer is ok...are you 'happy' in your marriage?I can't join anything because no money. I also have a husband who would say what do you need it for. That's what this cite is also been good for. Others who can relate. My husband also works anywhere fro 8 hrs to 15 days. Ever little breaks for me. They don't understand we need time for ourself some.rshn
