Sorry for voting no. I seem to be in the minority. However, I find chat very addictive and I have literally wanted to "spend a few minutes" at night chatting and ended up being disturbed by the birds chirping outside my window as the sun comes up.
One of the side effects of ADD, I have a very addictive personality. I can hyperfocus and go to the extreme with just about anything. I find the best solution for me is "all or nothing." In fact, I've never bought a lottery ticket or been inside a casino out of fear of what might happen! (Considering what I've been through with food, cigarettes, alcohol and drugs among other things, this is not just a phobia.)
If you decide to add a chat, it would be really nice if it could be on a different page or something.
Or could you tell me the address of a add support group with a chatroom if possibleI think a Chat room would be a wonderful idea.. Though what the first 2 posting say about it being addictive is true.. But it is hard to find may people with the same issues as most of us have....its is only mentally addictive if you let it become mentally addictive... understand you have a choice whether you chat or not. And if you think you should cut down do so!This was just in the "livingwithadd.com" ezine I received this morning.
