Hi I have 2 kids on Concerta daughter-ADD 9 , son adHd 8.
They both started on the 18mg of Concerta with excellent results for about 4-5 months. Daughter started being innattentive first, we increased her to 27 mg with little results. Now my son is being impulsive/hyper similar to how he was before meds. I am hesitant to increase his dose as he has lost 2 pounds since starting meds and it may not help him anyway (if he is like my daughter- it didn't help her.) I let him try the higher dose for the past two days with no difference as of yet.
Do you think switching them to Adderall might be a solution? I just feel like they have become immune to the Concerta.
