Ringing in ears (Tinnitus) | ADHD Information

Thanks,

I'll check it out!!!  My Mom works as a dental receptionist, I should be able to work something out (financially).

i've read that the stims can actually make you grind or clamp your jaw...you can do this without even knowing it.

this can turn into TMJ look it up and see a dentist.  you can get a split or a mouth guard to help with the ringing if that is what it is.

i clamp my mouth so hard at night that i have to pry my mouth open, not literally but it feels that way at times.

especially when i feel stressed out it is worse.  i've had the ringing since 2000 when i first started celexa...it's only gotten quietier off and on but never gone away.

i'm seeing a dentist feb 9th.  i believe you have to see an orthodontist.  look in your yellow pages under dentist and find some that they TMJ.

i hope this helps and you follow through with it becase it may help you!  if you dont have insurance then that sucks, i dont have insurance and i had to find someone that would do a free exam and work on payments with me.

really shop around too cause prices can vary alot!

Has anyone experienced a high pitched whistling sound in one or both ears, shortly after taking a stimulant medication?  I took Concerta 36mg for about 6 months, and then one day I woke up with this aweful noise in my ears that wouldn't go away. This started in June 2004, and I still have it today. I went off of Concerta about a month ago... the tinnitus has become better but it is still contant, and it drives me crazy because I'm only 21, and it's distracts me from my work (especially in school)...and I'm worried that I'll have to put up with this for the rest of my life...

Has anyone else experienced this before? Do you know where I can get some help? Or if there is anything I can take that would help?
