Wellbutrin and Adderall? | ADHD Information

    I just scheduled an appointment for monday to change my adderall xr 30mg perscription(tolerance). After looking at the side effects of most of the ADD medications, I've been thinkin about trying Wellbutrin, for my depression/ADD and then normal Adderall also trading off every other month with with Adderall xr to prevent tolerance. Has anyone taken these before? I heard Wllbutrin wasn't that good at helping with ADD but I was hoping it would help with my social problem.
    I'm use to taking Adderall xr everyday, so If I were to not take it for 3 days would it work again? Or do the "drug vacations" need to be longer? Also, I'm a teenage girl and I looove the fact that Adderall xr has allowed me to lose weight and increase my metabolizism, so if I did take the 3 days off would it start serpressing my appeitite again? I'm back to being always hungry again and I hate that.


Wellbutrin works in about 55% of people with ADD.  Stimulant work in about 75%.  55% is still a very high percentage.  For social problems prozac or zoloft would probably work better than Wellbutrin.
