when i  was taking adderall xr each day i use to go to bed anticipation taking it the night before and when i got up i could not wait to take it!!!

now yesterday i had a great day on concerta, my first day, and i went to   bed to last night feeling exciting about taking it again today and when i got up this a.m. i  was exciting again to take it!

i just love the way it makes me feel and that is why!  anyone else?

Your body needs it.
Honestly you have nothing to worry about.
It fixes our wiring so we can function normally.
I'd like to see the person who wouldn't take that pill.

I'm very addicted to adderall.
I think pretty much anyone who takes it is addicted if not mentally then physically.

OHHH I have something to help you on the comedown though.
Or even during.
I've found that if I drink one energy drink when I'm having a rather rough comedown it ALWAYS helps me when for one reason or another I'm having a rough comedown.
I think you should drink caffine if not energy drinks though.
It might help you with your anxiousness.

I tend to get achy muscles and a lack of motivation if I've been really engaged.
I LOVE learning so not having the ability to gain so much so quickly is frustrating.
Don't abuse your adderall though. I mean if you really feel like you want one take it but don't make a habbit out of it.
You could risk losing it all together.

lol sorry one more thing.
I don't think your dosage is lasting as long as you'd like.
I think it's PROBALLY time they stepped you up.
Talk to your doctor about that though.

As someone with past addiction problems  the worry is if you think about it all the time, change your life to make sure you get more and dont take it as prescribed  or in the manner intended( swallowing with food)

I don't fall asleep in anticipation. But I LOVE taking it.
I get up and I have to force myself to eat before I take them.
It always seems to take forever.

i was worried that this may be a tendency to addiction or thee addiction in it's self??? 

what do you guys think?  once i take i am fine though and when i feel it wearing off i want to take more to feel smart again!!!

I look forward to taking both of mine--- one isn't ADD related and it has made the biggest difference in how I feel.

Guess it is gratitude in having my life back.

I dread taking my meds. I always put it off as long as I can.

I don't think your body needs it, I think your brain needs it. When you say they make us function normally, it really means it makes us "unweird." We're just in one of those crock of crap societies that force us to fit in. Why wouldn't you be excited to take it? If you were all by yourself on a boat for months, you'd probably never take it again. You just want to fit in and there is nothing wrong with that.  Oh and by the way, the pill doesn't make you smart. . . You are smart, the pill just portrays it to "the norms."
