Just read a great book hot off the press Making the System Work for your Child with ADHD, Peter S. Jensen,MD. Guilford Press. It's well designed, with clear, helpful suggestions. Best of all are the examples Dr. Jensen uses of his his struggle with his own parenting. I want to write a book just like this for adults. What do you think?

I

so a really good series that lets a person into the mind of those
of us who have ADHD is a series written by two psychiatrists
who actually have ADHD

Driven To Distraction: full of stories about people with adhd
from the young child to the elderly adult. my heart bled for
some of these people

Answers to Distraction: the sequel that answers the many
questions spawned by the first book

Delivered From Distraction: the third book in the series only
released recently that elucidates strategies for coping with the
aspects of ADHD that make it difficult for us to fit in with the
nonADHD world

do a search on amazon or ebay, and you can find really great
prices. and the books are simple enough to read that any
family member can pretty much get into it.

i have the first 2 and am on my way to getting the 3rd (only
heard about it today)
