I am taking Provigil along with Straterra and Adderall, mostly for sleep apnea. It does help keep me awake somewhat but really it was the most effective the first week- it was great for helping with focus and motivation but after a week that effect went away and it is just not as effective after that. I have heard this from other people as well.

Maggie, Hi! Wow, all three. I assume you're going to see your dr soon to adjust dosages or change meds, etc., since they're not as effective as you'd like. Good luck.My Dr. gave me samples to try. Its a lot like ritalin but it last over 8 hours. I think it is pretty promising, but all my research points toward Wellbutrin for myslef. Wellbutrin keeps me more mentally alert than Provigil. If something happens that If I can't take Wellbutrin I may go back and take a second look at Provigil.
I am on Provigil, Strattera and Effexor XR. My primary physician does not like this combo very much. It was the shrink's idea.
