This forum vs others | ADHD Information
I just want to say how much I appreciate this particular forum! It's so easy to navigate (especially keeping up w/recent posts), easy to read posts (not too much other stuff going on besides the actual post to distract from reading them, like too many quotes, etc. Like us ADHDers really need all that distraction?)It's just so good to have all of you to whom I can relate, and who are so supportive and helpful to one another!
My intent isn't to offend anyone who does go to the other forums, I do myself occasionally. Just wanted to express my preference for this one.

It's the easiest to read and navigate and everyone is so friendly here! This is one of two forum that I visit regularly. I must say, this one is decidedly more active. The other can go hours and hours, even days, without a single post.

Exactly! You put it in much more explicit words than I did. And not at all a runon sentence. Very easy to follow, actually. One of the advantages of ADHD.

Actually, there is ONE thing I wish I could change on this forum...to be able to view more posts on a page...in both main topics, ie, Adult ADD, and individual posts. Perhaps there's a way it can be done, but I don't know how. ??? My PC is kinda old and slower, so it takes too long to go to next page, and that takes patience.

I located two other Adult ADHD forums/message boards. One is part of a whole host of other adhd stuff and has around 5000 members now. The other one appears to be much smaller and members do not post as frequently. Like Goldilocks in "The Three Bears" said, ' this ONE is just right '!

Ya, I can't stand boards that aren't active But this one is really busy! 
And all sorts of different topics to keep my ADHD mind occupied I like the fact that this one is fairly small, and that the posts dont, generally speaking, each contain 3 inches of multicolored vibrating quotes at the bottom followed by descriptions and photos of all the pets, children and extended family(so distracting I can barely concentrate on reading the message sometimes!!)

I love the Shawshank Redemption too. A posiitively brilliant story with one of the best endings I have ever seen. That particular quote really touched my heart... I think it strikes a particularly personal cord with us ADD folks, doesn't it?
