I have a vision! Gather round now and listen to the wisdom.............
I like my hyper-focus the best. It's really an amazing feeling to suddenly go above and beyond your normal abilities.

 

I have done quite a bit of traveling and trying new things - that many of my peers haven't done. 

i also sometimes have a knack for resourcefulness - finding interesting opportunities and creative ways of accomplishing things.  (even so, there are also many times when i can't figure out how to accomplish my goals.)

I'm not sure if the skills of creative thinking and resourcefulness are part of having add or if they are skills that i developed as a result of coping with the effects of add. 

i have found that it doesn't serve me well to talk about these skills - just to enjoy them for my use.

generally, i have found that people really dont want to hear that i'm resourceful or creative in problem solving but they are glad when i can use these skills in a process that will benefit them.

 

My high energy and problem-solving has been both a benefit and a thorn in my side for as long as I can remember. It's been a benefit in managing the large workloads I took on when working, and a pain in the butt to my friends (or would-be friends).

However, when it comes to my personal problem-solving, I have not been doing so well of late. I have never been in one place as long as I have been the last four years {poor gypsy } , and change was always a very important aspect of my life. It kept me "alive" and innovated.

But this, too, will change, I promise myself!GypsyWomyn38432.4672106481I like how I can look at the stupidest thing and immediately start thinking of ways to use it in a craft project.

My friend and I went to Michael's (a HUGE craft store) yesterday, to start getting ideas for wedding favours (she's getting married, not me). Two hours later we had so many great ideas she couldn't decide which one to use.

However, I am now charged with making from scratch her bridal bouquet, plus SEVEN bridesmaids bouquets, using silk flowers, ribbon, and florist wire. WAY cheaper than fresh flowers, not to mention lighter to carry, and much less delicate. I am also going to be sewing her ring bearer pillow from scratch.

Thank God I have 9 months.
What am I saying??? Nine months is nothing!!!!
