Hi!

Ok, so it is my fifth day on adderall. I have felt some strange reactions.

the first day i was incredibly jittery and by 5:00 felt like I was hit by a car

and i have felt edgy since i started. by the time the evening arrives I get highly irritable, and I didn't before medication. Is this a side affect? also I just went downstairs starting eating A FRY and suddenly it felt like my throat closed up. Right now it feels like there is liquid pulling my throat down and it feels like the back of my throat is pressing down like i can breathe. I can breathe, but i don't feel like i am breathing normally and I feel as if i have to work harder. I am not sure if this is a panic attack or a reaction and wanted to know about the irritability.

maybe this isn't the drug for me? oy speed.

bradboy00738396.7518865741 Adderall can have some bad side-effects like all stimulants. I have heard that it can give you breathing trouble. Also, the mood swings are typical. It will also cause you to fall hard when it wears off. You might need to adjust your dose. Sounds like it might be too much.

If you are having trouble breathing, I would suggest you don't take anymore until you talk with your doctor.

Stimulants affect each person differently and there doesn't seem to be a limit to the side effects. Because it affects your nervous system, Adderall can pretty much cause advers side-effects anywhere. Also, I would recommend you check your blood-pressure every few hours while on this medication. I have noticed a increase in my blood-pressure do to the Adderall. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Because it is a mixture of salts, it will dehydrate you and you will inturn get headaches. Dehydration can make you feel terrible so drink plenty of water. AS much as you can!!

Remember, there are a number of medications for ADHD because everyone reacts differently to them. If this med doesn't improve the quality of your life then don't take it. There isn't a point. Keep trying until you find something that works. I would also reccomend some behavioral and cognitive counseling to help control your behavior. I have seen that medication doesn't completely fix the problme. You still will have bad days and it will help to learn some coping strategies.

Best Regards

If the breathing troubles persist, contact your doctor before you take anymore.
