I was born with jet black hair and blue eyes and pale reddish-white skin.
Eventually, my hair changed every color from strawberry blonde to light brown. In my teenage years it changed for the final time into the mousiest brown hair you ever saw. I have freckles anyway, and my eyes changed to a medium green. Since "the powers that be" didn't give me what I always thought I should have I decided to help them along......
When I was between 14 and 15 I began coloring my hair to intensify the red highlights, which finally turned into a medium rich auburn. I think my hair has been every color in the red spectrum since then. Today underneath all my red hair is more salty and very little pepperish gray. YUCK! Well, on me anyway. Without hair color and make-up my face just fades away. It really is an unbelieveable difference.
Well, my hair is a beautiful silver (started changing at 13 years old). I dyed it reddish brown when I was looking for work...it didn't help. And when in the sun that summer, it turned strawberry blonde. Not bad, from my dark brown as a child. Then, since my hair is REALLY thinning (hereditary), I shaved it once, hoping it would grow in thicker, Nope, no such luck. I keep it short, which cammoflages (sp?)the thinning. Been cutting it myself for 20 years. If I screw up, nobody's fault but mine.

But I do like change.
I also cut others' hair...not licensed, but do a good job. I've always liked cutting hair. I would cry when I would cut my doll's hair, and it didn't grow back.
My mother never let me grow it long growing up, now if I let it grow long, it just breaks off and looks terrible. I always wanted to be a silver-haired "senior" with a beautiful long French braid. Now, I just look like that in my dreams, really.

I think it's more likely because I'm starting to get a little 'long in the tooth'.
I used to- I've had everything from long hair to about 1/4 inch long and from red to dk brown. I never could stand having the same hairdo for longer than about 3 or 4 months.
I was also that way about jobs and places I've lived- always ready to move on to something new.
I've had the same haircut now for at least 6 months, but just bc my husband likes it. I'm so itching to cut it! I've been colouring my hair on a somewhat regular basis
since I was 16 or 17. My natural colour is light brown, but I've gone
everywhere from blond to black (black was an accident, BTW). Just last
weekend I coloured my hair a deep, intense red. I love it because it is
really accenting my blue eyes. Unfortunately it won't last long because
everytime I wash it, the water runs a little red.
The style, however, hasn't changed in years. It's just long, parted in
the middle, with layers in the front. I don't want a high-maintence 'do
because I can not be bothered to style it. A fresh clour once in a
while is all I need.
This year, I am a redhead :)

HAHAHAHAHA! Just look at his picture. It's normal for men to lose
hair at that age. I love the cigar in the mouth, by the way.
As for my hair no. I have never dyed it. Other than donating my hair to
Locks of Love, I have never had any drastic hairstyle changes. I like
having really long hair because it makes me stand out from the crowd.
Most women have medium length or shorter hair because it's more trendy
and
stylish. I don't like to be too trendy. Trendy is boring! I think
another reason I like long hair is because my mother used to give me
these awful short bowl haircuts when I was very young. That probably
scarred me against short hair for life.
Anyone else cut/color their hair all the time? I just went from blonde to brunette today..lol
