Yeah, this has a tendency to happen in a small group like ours.  If a chatroom's going to work you have to pre-arrange chats, probably by advertising them on the forum (chat tonight at 8:00 pm etc).

I'll be tucked up in bed, fast asleep and sleeping off the booze of course - different time zones y'see.

Strange.  The chatroom is a SigmaChat room, and if you have any problems with plugins etc try http://www.sigmachat.com/index.html

I'm afraid I'm not very good with technology and these new-fangled computer things.

Thanks for trying but I still can't get in. I downloaded and installed it but nothing has changed.

I was in the chatroom today for several hours...Mark and gypsy woman were there... I was great. Mark and I used Yahoo IM and tried to get Gypsy hooked up. there. If we can get into a chat room we should be able plug in Voice so that we cna talk to one another rather than type.

Either way...the chat room is absolutley the way to go...

You don't need a time, it's true - however if there's an arranged chat at (for example) 7pm Tuesday, then at least those that want to chat can be there.  Otherwise (especially with a small group like ours) people will wander in, find the room empty, and wander out again - eventually the chatroom will die through lack of interest (it's not the first chatroom I've started).

The chat program I've used is very simple (just choose your name and go), and it's certainly not as sophisticated as pirch etc - but it is easy to use for those amongst us who are not computer nerds

I went into Mark's chatroom today, and it was a nice experience to chat with him, it would be good for everyone if they have a moment to introduce themselves, after all we are all special people otherwise we wouldnt have ADD.

he took the time to do this, so lets all take the time to get to know one another and share our experiences.
