That sounds about exactly how I am. I am also inattentive though, (Combined type) so I'm not sure if that plays a roll in anything. But yes those exact things heppen to me, I get up to get something to eat and then i see the dishes aren't done, do those, then I need to sweep the kitchen, oh better vaccum the house, dust, water the plants etc... (This just happened today and i just sat down.) Well anyways, yep it sounds like ADD to me.

Thanks for the response. I guess I phrased it a little bit wrong... I knew I was at least ADD - I have nearly all the symptoms of the classic innattentive type, just wasn't clear on whether the "H" belonged in there too. LOL.
Thanks again.
bcgirl197838404.8590972222Though I don't have any formal diagnosis yet (other than agreement of the possibility from my family doc), I'm pretty sure I have the hyperactive form of ADHD. My teachers couldn't keep me seated in school, I climbed anything and everything, and I was always looking for something to "do" when I was a kid. Now that I'm an adult, I find that I still can't sit still. My legs jiggle non-stop. Sometimes I feel like my office cubicle is closing in on me - I feel like I'm going to crack up if I don't get up and walk around. Sometimes at home I feel like I'm going to crack if I don't "do" something, other than watch TV or sit and do my cross-stitch. Yet the idea of doing exercise or going for a walk or doing some other form of gross activity doesn't interest me. Yesterday afternoon I was bouncing around on the couch and sighing like a restless 5-year-old. I got up and started straightening up the living room and I felt better. I was able to relax by the time evening rolled around, and I watched TV and did my cross-stitch like normal. Is this what it's like for an adult to be ADHD? Thanks Chocoholic.
I have tried doing the exercise thing... but like everything else, I'm
great in the beginning but it doesn't take long to fizzle out. I need
to find soem kind of physical activity that I won't get bored with.
