Most of you likely know by now that sales of Adderall XR have been "suspended" in Canada. My daughter (age 13) and I (age 41) have been taking Adderall XR for several months and it has worked extremely well. In the past, I have tried Dexedrine SP and Concerta, but they did not work nearly as effectively as Adderall XR.
When sales of Adderall XR were suspended, my doctor switched me to Dexedrine; however, I am finding that it is not nearly as effective and I want to go back to Adderall XR. My doctor supports my decision (in fact, most patients are in the same situation - wanting to continue with Adderall but not knowing how to go about purchasing it legally from the United States).
Here is my question: does anyone know how I would go about purchasing Adderall from the United States? Canadian law allows me to import a 3-month supply of a prescription drug not available in Canada. I am not allowed to have the drug shipped to Canada; however, immediate family members are permitted to bring the drug for me. I do have a family member who travels regularly to the US on business so I was thinking of using an online pharmacy to have the Adderall sent to his US hotel. My doctor here is willing to consult with a US doctor but obviously she is not licensed to write prescriptions that will be filled in the US.
I would very much appreciate anyone's suggestions on the best way to proceed. I know that there are hundreds of online pharmacies; however, I want to ensure that I use a reputable pharmacy with good customer service.

I am sorry to hear that. What was the reasoning that the Canadian government used to ban Adderall?
Thought I would try this again since no one has responded. I would very much appreciate suggestions. Perhaps there are other Canadians on this site who want to continue with Adderall. What are you doing?
