Memorie problems | ADHD Information

My son and I have great longterm but bad short term. Are your kids like this? rshnyup, definitely have a terrible memory!!Not sure if I have ADD, but tend to forget things in really short periods of time, like if I am in my room and go downstairs to get something, by the time I get down stairs I don't remeber what I needed to do. Or I turn on my computer and by the time I get online I can't remeber what i was going to do. After thinking or going back to where I was I usually will figure out what I was going to do. i have a bad short term memory but i have a fantastic long turm memory

So much of the grief in my life is because I have no memory - longterm, shortterm - NOTHIN'! When I do remember something, I only remember part of it. For example, I will call my Dr's office 3 times in the next two weeks cuz I know I have an appointment in April... somehow I keep remembering that.... I just don't know what day or time... and she told me a month ago... and again yesterday. i'd reply to this message but i forgot what the topic was................I have a HORRIBLE memory  and my 8 1/2 year old with adhd does too
