Oh yeah I can relate, I'm king of starting something then never finishing it or losing interest. I can't think of anything in life I've mastered as a hobby because I'll start off with my life consumed by it, then it will flake off over time.
Definitely all sounds familiar.ok so I have read oodles on adult add and I am just about to ask my family doc about strattera. What I think my symptoms are: Racing mind when I try to go to sleep, completely losing track of time:all the time, 5,000 unfinished projects such a afgans, scarves, jewelry. I'll buy enough beads and wire to make many items and then make one and put the stuff away (or not). I'm a self admitted terrible house keeper.
If any of this sounds familiar please let me know.
DEFINETLY FAMILIAR!! Yes, I think that most of the people who have AD/HD can relate to ALL those things you mentioned.

You can do it!!
Good luck on your test Booknert!
When you go to see your doctor, it would be helpful to remember as much childhood history as possibe - my doctor asked me mostly about my childhood. Look at your old report cards (if you can), and ask your parents about any comments they may have received from your teachers. Good luck and keep us posted.
