I felt revved up on Adderall for the first couple of days until my body adjusted. Now I don't feel anything physical. I don't have experience with Concerta but from several things I've read the first few days on a higher dose of any ADHD medication can cause the side effects to come back or to reappear. Get through the first week and see if you still have them.

ok here is my deliema: i was told that if you "speed" from a stim that it means you do not have ADD. ok?
so when i was taking adderall xr 10 mgs only i felt revved up inside but hid it well on the outside, but inside i felt totally wired.
i changed over to concerta and on 18 mgs never really felt it to that extreme as with the adderall xr. ok...so today i went to the 27 mgs of concerta and i took it around 8:30 and around 1:00 or so i started feeling that revved up feeling inside again.
i took my blood pressure and it is 143/96!!! i wonder if that is why i feel so revved up inside, i feel like i am ready to go into major overdrive and just take off down the highway of life! lol..
so i was told that because of this feeling it means i am NOT ADD??? buuuuuut....it is listed also as side effects! anxiety, restlessness, irritable, etc...some of how i feel inside and i am talking very fast and doing things very fast as if some one stuck a nickle in me, and now i have an awful headache and i worry it is from the high blood pressure or just the meds.
i have pills i can take for anxiety which also double as high blood pressure pills so i took one a while ago and i am hoping that it will settle me down some..
my dh has said he will pay for this brain spect scan!!! i am soo excited to get it done now so then i will know for sure if i am even treating the right thing or not!!
any input would be so greatly apprecitaed!!!
