Positive Add Skills | ADHD Information
I have found many positive traits associated with this disorder. First of all, since I have a hard time remembering items like names I found I have become a proficient relationship thinker. I remember and understand so many things because of their relationship to other things. I earned a history degree because it all seemed to relate and history just keeps repeating it's self; or at least rhymes. What are some positive interesting things others of you have found that helps make lemonade out of your lemons? My limited ability to keep storys going makes me a more straightforward person (animals seem to like that). I also have learned to be more prepared because I get confused easily and I need more options at hand. One negative is that I feel a bit more empathetic to others and I try to do too much for others. It's easy to enable others to take advantage of that. After feeling a certian amount of rejection over the years for being the one wno doesn't get the joke or can't figure out the next step someone explained I have learned to connect a little better by asking questions. As long as you are not obnoxious about it people often take it as a sign of respect.
