ritalin isnt a narcotic it is a class2 controlled drug  as are narcotics  but narcotics  sedate  and ritalin is a stimulant for the record Narcotics also cause strong physical addiction  which ritalin doesnt. People dont shake, throw up  or run a fever when they stop ritalin. Just cause narcotic sounds so ominious because well it is..I figuired I'd ease your mind a little. Ritalin is not anything like  Qxycontin.

Has anyone out there had any experinces with natual suppliments like Focus,or Listol?  My son is six and he takes generic metadate.  problem is, it wears off in about 5 or 6 hours.  He has to have it for school, so it wears off by evening and then the battle is on.  I would actually rather have him on something that isn't a Narcotic, but he has to be on something. . .if not him, then me.Let me know please, I am at my wits end.
