Has anyone exprience these symptoms? | ADHD Information

A real close friend of mine recently told me she notice that I am either always bubbly and making people laugh,  then the next I am very quiet.

I do know when I am at work, I do like to make people laugh and cannot stop, then I can be very quiet, people always ask me what is bothering me, as i seem withdrawn, But to be honest, I am just putting my head down, nothing wrong.

Does this sound like anyone else?

I hate this so much!!!

"You seem so quiet today - is something wrong?"

I get this from one particular friend all the time. Aren't I allowed to be quiet once a while??? Get off my case!!!

I am the same way.  Every one is always asking "why are you so quiet today?" I just dont feel like talking. I have always been that way, my husband calls me moody.

Yes! I especially noticed that today. I was cracking jokes and then there got to be so much conversation between so many people that I just shut down and went into 'silent mode.'

Just yet another strange add symptom! That is exactly how I am.  I have been know as a social butterfly, the life of the party, always being a goofball and making people laugh.  But sometimes I feel very reclusive and will not talk-I'm not really in a bad mood I just need space.  I tend to do this a lot when we go out-Sometimes I'm all gung ho to go out with my wife and her family-other times I just stay home alone and listen to music.  My wife understands, but a lot of her family take offense.  They are always together having dinner, going out, I just have to be in the right frame of mind.you are not alone!!!

I always thought it was just some qwuirk with my personality but I can go from talkative and center of attention to withdrawn in minutes. I don't know what it is, maybe I just loose interest in whats going on....who knows. I do get that sometimes when I'm quiet though, people asking me if something is wrong.
