I've been taking 20mg per day (10 mg twice) for a few weeks, and seem to be doing well except for a very annoying urinary retention/burning after urination problem. I can't figure out if this is the Adderall or not, as I'm on several different meds for different things. I've been drinking a lot of water (I know about the dehydration), but still have the burning. Prostate checks out ok, and no sign of infection. Anyone else experience anything like this? It's very uncomfortable.
This isn't exactly the same thing, but since I've been on Adderall I've noticed that I urinate VERY slowly. Not bothersome, other than I want to hurry and get back to whatever I was doing. Weird, huh?Not too weird. Seems like my stream is smaller than usual. Certainly understand the desire to get back to what I was doing!aderrall can constrict blood vessils.....making you feel cold or decreasing circulation....I have noticed that when my allergies are bothering me and My nose is stuffedup...adderall constricts the vessels in the same way sudafed does...so maybe just maybe it can be constricting your bladder or blood vessels related to your urethra......just a guess....
