I'm looking for some encouragement that Ritalin might still help my six yr old son. He is currently on 7.5 mg twice a day and it's not helping at all. He is still just as hyper and impulsive as ever. He has other disabilities as well (MR, autism, and hearing loss). His dr says he can go up to as much as 20 mg three times a day. I would be VERY interested and helped if those of you giving Ritalin to your children could share with me the dosages they are on and when you begin to see results.
