Ritilan vs. Concerta | ADHD Information

Isn't Ritilan the same thing as Concerta? But I'm hearing that pple are getting better results on Ritilan than Concerta, especially children. I wonder, Why? Perhaps $$ and the pharmaceutical companies? I think Concerta is prescribed more for adults than children. Why?GypsyWomyn38413.7899074074I think concerta is a proprietary time release formula of ritalin.  My Dr prefers the ritalin because of the   shorter  lasting time  and  the better control it gives.  I dont see a lot of I cant sleep at night posts from people who take ritalin....it flushes so fast. The downside is i have to take 10 mg 3 times a day  but  I guess  for a 6'1 200lber it isnt a real lot  and it works  real well for me.

Ritalin and Concerta ae the same drugs.Ritalin is short acting but stronger.Concerta is longer acting but doesn't give as much of a "burst" as plain riatlin.That's about the only difference.
