Twitching??? | ADHD Information

Jo, how long have you been taking the dexetrine? I just looked it up, and as I mentioned about side effects of stimulants:

uncontrolled muscle movements (e.g., tics, tremors)

But am glad it stopped. Happy P.O.E.T.S. Day!

I posted this on another forum by accident, but what i want to ask is,   Has anyone had any problems "twitching" now dont laugh!  but the last day and today it has gotten worse, it is like an itch and when u get one it starts everywhere.  I cannot sit still.   first my leg then my groin, then my hip it is awful!

any suggestions?

Yo Momma! How are you, besides twitching? Are you taking an ADHD stimulant? Or wellbutrin? It's my unerstanding that these meds may cause tics. What these tics are, I couldn't say specifically. I know this occurs often in children. I think they differ with different people. Twitching could very well be a side effect.

Now, if your not on meds, I haven't a clue.    Good Luck with the twitching!  It's not a laughing matter.  Although I know I feel like it sometimes.  My eyelids twitch A LOT when I am at work I just pray it won't be one of those days, I know how stupid I would look walking up to a table to take an order with my eyes twitching.  The last three days they have been driving me nuts.  It usually happens for me, just before a major migraine, oh I can't wait!  But, after I went to an eye doc because I thought maybe I was going nutty, he told me benadryl can help calm twitches anywhere in the body.   

Well after a night of twitching I finally feel better (no twitching)  I live in alberta and it is so dry here, so maybe it was that, that caused it, but it drove me crazy, tried to think if I ate anything different that reacted with my meds (dexedrine)  but nothing different.
