Dosage Adjustments

I have a question.  I went to my first visit with new psy on wed.  She gave me 20mg adderall xr 1 per day.  She said that since i hadn't taken them in a few months i should start low.  I am supposed to go back in 3 weeks.  I allready know that 20mg xr 1 daily is not enough.  I need atleast 1 in the morning and 1 at noon (i wake up at 6am).  I really think in all honesty that i need 25 mg xr 2x a day.  Do i have to suffer this out and not really get any relief until i see her again in 3 weeks? What would you do?  Do you call your doctors? Make appointments sooner?  She really didn't say.  thanks guys for any help.....peace and love
