Hi,
I was recently diagnosed with ADHD two months ago. I am 31 years of age. My doctor and psychologist decided Stratera would be the right medication for me. They started me off on 25mg for a month, which did not do anything. Then moved me to 40mg, with no results. I am now trying 65mg and still nothing. Does this medication really work? My doctor told me in two weeks if no results, then he will put me on Concerta. Does Concerta work? Is it same benefits as Adderall?
Today I had three instances where my ADHD really kicked in. All three involved my wife trying to tell me something while I was off in dreamland. This is not only new to me, but also my wife. We are having some maretial probs due to this, but I know things will be worked out in the end. She is understanding of what I am going through and wants answers just like I do!
I can tell you this, I did graduate college with a 3.0 barely. I have a good job that pays well and allows my wife to stay at home with our daughter. My ADHD is starting to effect the way I work. I am always forgetting where I put stuff, from files to my wallet, to my keys to what I am going to say during a presentation. I just hope that there is an answer with the medication.
Let me know what you think of Concerta and is it better, worse, the same as adderall?
