Our 6 year old daughter has been on Metadate CD 10 mg for 6 school days. We have seen no real improvements in behavior, or attention. Our question is: how long do we wait on the 10 mg before we call the Dr to see if we should up it to 20?
We chose this drug first on the advice of our Dr. because a) she doesn't have to swallow it (it can be sprinkled), and b) we don't want to give her it on the weekends or holidays off from school.
How long did you wait with your children before asking if you should increase the dosage or try something different?
Thanks for the advice. We've waited 2 years to do this and we are nervous.
