Have you tried posting this on the "Parents of children with ADHD" board? It seems like those folks have been through some of the same things you are going through and they might have some good advice. To find it, go to the ADHD Message Boards and then scroll down the Parents board.

Good luck with your situation.Don't school staff understand  sign to hard or just don't get it.Our staff here said needs to be pushed while young. I told bull, when teachers did it with me I just gave up.I think these people needed to be trained on how to help a special needs child regardless of diagnoses.They obviousley can't relate or don't get the real picture. I believe these kids are just wired different than public school teaches.School should be a multisensory environment which meets all the needs.  We this year are blessed to have a special education teacher teaching our sons classroom. I asked  for her in last years ard meeting. Best choice I think.
