Are ADD people more creative?
How about you?
How many of you are writers, artists, out of the box thinkers who civilians think are "weird."
I remember an employer called me a creative personality just a few
months before he canned me - much to his own detriment businesswise
which still tastes sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
mmmmmmmmm. validation.
...and does anyone else have an online diary? I just started a free one
and it is fun, done it before. It is on an adult site too so I feel I
can cuss, talk about sex, use the f word as I am prone to do
The Resistance!
I think most of us are creative in one way or another. My daughter and I (both ADD) could spend every waking hour creating something. Our "Dream Home" is Hobby Lobby...I would live right in the middle.........Paint one day, sew the next, Make some soap, do a couple of flower arrangements before bed, I think my favorite is painting, though, anything, and Yes I definitely think "Outside the Box", Question EVERYTHING.........drives my husband nuts......
Hobby Lobby -
LOL! I love it. My dream is to just quit my job and spend my days
painting, cross-stitching, sewing, gardening, cooking and baking, and
anything else I might like to try and haven't discovered yet.
I used to write stories all the time when I was younger. I'd get these
great ideas, write out notes, start the first chapter, and then of
course NEVER get any further.

Damn ADD - it's a blessing AND a curse! LOL.

Only thing I can create is chaos.

WE BRAG ALOT, TOO!!

I am more of a withdrawn thinker... I am very good at programming, and solving VERY complex IT problems in programs and servers. But yes, I think I am creative in my own way. I think of all the posibilities, and all the way to solve issues... and that is my strength
I am a photographer. Landscape and portrait.
Did you know that Ansel Adams had ADD too?
Read that on one of the other posts.
I certianly think outside of the box.
What is an online diary?

Online diary: a diary where you go and write down your thoughts
periodically. Send me a private message and I'll send you the url I
don't want to post that here because it only has two entries and there
is also the matter of it being on an adult site and oh yeah it sucks so
far but my last one did too but thing is I enjoy it.
Photography: I have carved stone and doodled around with assemblage art
but I am just getting into photography. But not the easy way of course
I bought a nice antique camera at an auction that had some sweeeet
lenses (to me anyway) but it needs light seals which I just ordered a
kit to replace them myself. I also ran across 4 books at a library
used book sale two on camera repair and two on taking pictures I am
hyperfocused.
TR!

one of the recurring stories of my own life.

I'm a programmer too as a hobby.
Web stuff. PHP. Perl. MySql. Formerly a smattering of C++ and Perl.
It is I think out of character for me, but I am always hands-on and do
it yourself with stuff and I love the web, and computers and this my
friend IS art, and creativity also in my opinion. Art is in the
attitude you bring to the task, not the task. Washing dishes can be art.
