Watching Movies | ADHD Information

Does anyone have a hard time remembering movies?  If I find one I really love, I remember it but most movies I've seen, I totally forget within a few weeks.  I know I saw them, and even know that I liked them but I  no longer know what they were about.  I also get so mad at myself because I can watch a late night comedian for instance, and laugh my head off at a joke, and want to relay it to my husband, and by the next morning I can never remember the joke.  The next morning!!  Geez, I think I'm nuts sometimes.  Anyone else do that?Sure! All the time. A suggestion is keeping the ticket stub (if saw in theater) and write name of movie on it if it's not on it. Or if rented, keep the slip you signed (receipt). Then you can see the title, and it may bring it back to you. I own over 120 VHS movies...what am I going to do when VCR players and VHS movies are no longer available?    I'll be darned if I'm gonna buy them all in DVD!

And when it comes to remembering jokes, I try to immediately turn around and tell someone, even to the person who told me the joke. Not a guarantee, but it helps. With me it's probably best not to remember a joke, because I can totally annihilate a joke when I tell it!Yes.... I know exactly what you mean. If I see a movie once, a few weeks or months later, I may as well have never seen it. If I watch it again, it's almost like seeing a brand new movie because I can't remember how anything turned out.

And yes... forgetting comedians' jokes is something I do all the time. I went to a comedy club for a friend's birthday a few years ago. We had a blast. I keep wanting to tell my boyfriend about one of the jokes that the guy told, but I can never remember it. It was somehting about a Bed-in-a-Bag and I know I practically rolled on the floor in laughter when I heard it, but damned if I can remember how it went.
