I am in the application process for a new job and just took the drug test (urine test) today. It did not occur to me until afterwards that my prescription may show up. Worse, I am worried it may show up and be misinterpreted as some illegal amphetamine.
Does anyone one know if Concerta (54mg in case you are wondering) shows up on a routine drug screening?
I would believe that it would. If you want to know for sure call your doctor. Didn't you have to fill out a list of the prescription medications you take before the drug test? No, I went in assuming that I would have to fill out a form of prescribed medications. However, they took my license for my name, took the sample and showed me the exit. As I said, it did not occur to me until after I was gone that they had not gotten this information.|
