I just asked an ADD Testing question in the Adult ADD Forum My son was tested. The testing is going to be different according to who does it. If you are tested at school they won't do as much. If you are tested by a private psychologist, they will do more testing, maybe even an IQ test. The first thing they do is give child parents and teachers a connor scale, or an equivalent report to fill out. Then they can do a flash light test, where a black dot will flash with the picture and you have to remember where it flashed. They may call out 4 numbers and then ask you to put them in order. See. it's nothing really hard. You will do better at some parts than others. But don't worry about it too much. Having ADD is not a indicator of intelligence nor stupidity. It just is. Some medicines help. Either way you'll be just fine. My daughter went through a lot of different testing and I was told her IQ was over 109 and they stopped the test because she got distracted.  She was tested through childrens hospital then the school for she fell through the cracks the first time.  She is only 5.  My girl did pretty good on the puzzle stuff.  do not worry.
