Good ADD book? | ADHD Information

The New Book Delivered from Distraction[/url] is great.

There are also some other suggestions for books at the Living with ADD Bookstore.

livingwithadd38428.8906365741Just read the review for that book on Amazon and it seems like its very different than anything else I've seen.  I heard about the "brain scan" stuff on Dr. Phil (an ADD episode) and it seems like a logical step.  The big question is if these scans actually mean anything or not.

On a side note, I like the description of Type 6 ADD, "Ring of Fire".  Its probably what I have (this is a joke, I don't know what type 6 entails).

ADD side note...  "Ring of Fire" makes me instantly think of two tangents... The first being the movie Finding Nemo were Nemo has his formal fishtank initiation and second the Ring of Fire in the pacific ocean.

BTW, my wife thinks of more annoying habits is spitting out weird semi related topics to on conversations.  I notice that when I'm medication it happens a lot less, but when the meds were off, it comes out "full force" :)

Thanks for the information.    I do that  when I have conversations with others as well.  Allot of people don't even follow what I am talking about.  I had a friend tell me I am a "spacial" thinker.  Whatever, I just cain't keep one subject too long.

Does anyone know of a good book to read on the subject?  I just purchased Healing ADD the breakthrough program that allows to see and heal the 6 types of ADD.  My gosh I had no idea there are 6 types!!  Can you really heal ADD?
