Meeting young adults with ADD | ADHD Information

Well I didn't have the hyperactive part either... just the VERY short attention span. They gave me a questionarre to give to one of my friends and two more to give to my parents or someone who knew me and my behavior patterns. I was just diagnosed recently. What made you decide to seek help? really? my psychologist said i would have to do like puzzles and games to test my attention...ive just always had a very short attention span and im always getting told off by my teachers in college cos im very dreamy....they always say stuff like im on a different wavelength than everyone else and i just sit through class and stare into space....my biology teacher does impressions of me to other students!!!!! i HATE him!!! how long ago were you diagnosed? what made you decide to seek help? xx

I'm new to this board, having just found out that I have ADD... Most of my life has been spent trying to connect to people (my peers) who in all fairness would never be able to understand the "Gift/Curse" that I've been living with. I Have this strong desire to converse some people around my age (18/M/CA-USA) who can relate. Is there anyone out there? 

 hi im 19 and i dont know if i actually have ADD or not but ive had an interview with a psychologist who said shes going to do tests for my attention she doesnt think im hyperactive though......when were you diagnosed?? what did they do to test you? xx
