Adderall working backwards???? | ADHD Information
For some reason the medications work differently in children and adults, My son and I are both taking Ritalin it slows him down and speeds me up, but helps us both to focus. The medication does the same thing; it's how the individual responds/reacts to what the drug is doing.
Well I guess both the pediatrician and the psychiatrist were wrong.
I sleep soooo much better when I take my meds! Without them, it takes me forever to fall asleep because my mind won't turn off!I have been taking adderall xr 20mg for 5 days now the first day i was wired and didnt sleep for twenty four hours. The second day was great and every day after that has been good the only thing is my appetite has increased dramatically and I have so much energy and I'm focused I have also been sleeping great (was only sleeping maybe 3 hours per night before). My son takes Adderall XR 20mg and he doesnt have an appetite and doesnt fall aslepp right away normal side effects ya know. Does anyone have any idea why its backwards with me. I know the medication is working because I feel better than I ever have in my life. But has anyone else had these strange side effects?
My son and I are both on it but were the opposite of you and yours. Funny how all our bodies react different. I just know IT WORKS! YEAH! lol
