New person here | ADHD Information

 Hi everyone, I have just found this forum. My daughter is ADHD. She is now 16 but has been on meds since age 6. She has taken Ritalin and then to Concerta. At the beginning of last year we were very excited about Strattera. (sp?) She started using it in September of 2004 at the highest dose. It did not work. At first it seemed to and then school problems started. This year she is back on Concerta and doing ok.  Our kids surely have to work harder at studies but my daughter is really upset about all the peer pressure. She can not wait to she is out of school for good. She has her sites set on TV makeup and with start at a school near Boston for Esthetics. I really feel our kids do well with hands on type of learning. Although, it will be very interesting to see if she can do this for herself. We can only help so much...Jan
